Family Fellowship Weekend 2022: Jim Molloy

Jim serves as the executive director of Ministries and Missions for the Maritime District. He is married to Sandy, and they have three sons. They live just outside of Truro, Nova Scotia.

Jim graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology degree in 1994. He and Sandy married in the same year and they relocated to Quispamsis, New Brunswick, where he served as the assistant pastor of Kings Way Assembly in Quispamsis, NB. Six years later, they moved to Dartmouth, NS, to serve as the associate pastor of Evangel Pentecostal Church. While leading at Evangel, Jim was appointed as the church ministries director for the Maritime District. In 2003, he was appointed to serve full-time with the district.

In addition to providing leadership to Next Generation events, Jim serves as church planting director and has established several leadership development initiatives, most recently the Ministry Apprenticeship Program. Jim serves on multiple committees, including on the board of Master’s College & Seminary, the board of Aboriginal Bible Academy, and various PAOC guiding groups.

Jim’s favourite ministry tasks include leadership training and personal coaching. He feels at his best when he is helping leaders and helping churches.

In 2011, Jim released Every Leader’s Everest, a book on insecurity’s impact on leaders.
